Professional auditors often wish to deliver a single report to their client, avoiding the need to juggle different files: backups, filing, restitution, communications, etc.
There are multiple solutions according to the final use
First, the “Certisio certificates” for photos are not supposed to be modified, otherwise, the holder should check each items included. The signature freezes the document and guarantees its integrity, in addition to the one provided by the blockchain
To avoid confusion and errors, it is recommended to integrate the “Certisio Certificate” for photos file into the PDF report as follows, without losing the advantages
Method #1
- Take photos and request a certificate using “Certisio Certificates (F1)
- Convert your finalized report into PDF (F2)
- Open this pdf report F2 in Acrobat Pro
- Insert the PDF file F1 as a binary file in the acrobat file.
Insert a binary file. Click on Menu > Display > “Modify”.
In the menu “Edit PDF file””, click on the drop down menu “Others””, then “Attach a file”
Alternative method to insert binary file. Click on the left pane (gray triangle) to bring up the pages, bookmarks and signatures, then click on the paperclip and finally click on the paperclip plus icon
choose the PDF certificate file to insert. This technique enable the drag and drop of several files at once
All files are now accessible, while remaining intact and original
Method #2
Merge the report pdf (F2) with the “Certisio certificates” for photo (F1) entirely or partly. This insertion foster the reading and the analysis of the report. But those additional attached elements don’t bring any guaranty of authenticated photos, since the certisio files are modified. For this last point, the author can attach the Certisio pdf (F1) to bring the needed proof. This method requires twice the size of certificate attached for the final pdf report, one for the usability (reading confort), another for the guaranty with the original certisio certificate pdf (F1) signed
Method #3
To strengthen the overall final document and bring more confidence, we may use “Certisio issuance product”. This feature add stamp on a pdf file. Here is the suggested process to use, using the solution described above
- Take pictures and generate photos certificate pdf , let’s call it (F1).
- Edit the report and convert it into PDF file (F2)
- Insert pdf file F1 into pdf file F2 with acrobat pro to get a new pdf file (F3)
- Create a certified document with Certisio Issuance with the file (F3) to be submitted (form upload). You will get a pdf file (F4) signed and a dedicated blockchain record for it
We save the entire integrity of the file (F1). Additionally, we create a blockchain record for the file (F1)+(2) to get the file (F4)
We can use many alternative combinaison for a desired flexibility. Keep on mind you should always access to the original certification brought by certisio and the blockchain

Fusionner partiellement ou entièrement le fichier pdf rapport avec le certificat certisio. Ces ajouts facilitent la lecture pour le lecteur ou l’analyste mais n’apportent pas de garantie. Pour fournir une garantie à son client, l’auteur peut attacher le ou les certificats certisio photos (F1) au rapport. Cette méthode requiert 2 fois la taille du fichier certificat certisio, l’un pour le confort visuel et l’autre pour l’attachement de la preuve intacte

Pour renforcer la garantie d’originalité du document final, nous pouvons utiliser, en plus du certificat pour photos, le produit “Certisio issuance” dont l’objectif est d’horodater le PDF par la blockchain un document PDF. Voici la procédure suggérée :
– Prendre des photos et générer le certificat photo pdf que nous appelerons (F1).
– Editer votre rapport final et le convertir en fichier pdf (F2)
– Insérer le fichier pdf (F1) dans le fichier pdf (F2) en mode “binaire” (avec acrobat pro, par exemple), pour obtenir un fichier pdf complet (F3). Seule la partie rapport (F2) est “visible”, la partie F1 est cachée
– Créer un document certifié avec “Certisio Issuance” avec (F3) à télécharger (upload). Vous obtiendrez un fichier pdf (F4) signé incluant un enregistrement blockchain dédié pour le fichier (F4).
Avec cette méthode on a préservé le fichier (F1) original sans le modifier. L’horodatage sur la blockchain prend en compte les contenues (F1)+(F2).
Toute les combinaisons sont possibles en prenant garde de préserver les garanties initiales souhaitées tout en bénéficiant de la souplesse de lecture
